Migrating from Magnetism 3D Desktop (Delphi)?
Existing desktop customers get 12 months free on the equivalent SaaS tier, then 12 months at 50% off, then full price from Year 3. Self-migrate by December 31, 2027 to lock in the 50% Year-2 rate. Start your migration.
District and university systems
Multi-site and system-wide licensing starts at $7,500/year. Typical deployments include university systems, state-university networks, and mid-to-large K-12 districts. We accept POs, offer Net-30, execute the SDPC National DPA, and sign state-specific riders (NY Ed Law 2-d, Illinois SOPPA, Colorado SDTSA, Connecticut ESH). Contact us for an async quote.
Honest note: Electromagnetism 3D is currently a solo-founder operation. Site and District quotes are handled asynchronously over email within 5 business days. We don't run live demo calls, on-site PD sessions, or custom integrations in Year 1. If your procurement process requires any of those, we're happy to revisit in Fall 2027.
Frequently asked questions
Do students need to create accounts?
No separate account required. Students sign in with their school-issued Google or Microsoft account, or with a class code the teacher generates. A seat is consumed only when a student first authenticates. LTI 1.3 launch (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, D2L) is available on request for Department+ tiers — we build and certify it on a named-deal basis, with a 60-day delivery commitment once scoped.
Is this FERPA and COPPA compliant?
Yes. We do not collect student PII in the Free Sandbox. On paid tiers we store only the data required for the teacher to see which students have engaged — no grades, no behavioral data, no advertising IDs. See the security page for details.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes. The Free Sandbox is perpetual — one user, full simulation library, URL share only, no save to account, light watermark. No signup, no time limit, no credit card. Upgrade whenever you want to save, embed, roster, or remove the watermark. For Site and District buyers, we also offer 90-day paid pilots at 50% of the pro-rated annual rate, credited to the full contract on conversion.
How do renewals work?
Annual term, card or PO. For public-entity contracts (Department+), we do not auto-renew: we send a renewal quote 90 days before expiry and accept non-appropriation termination, consistent with US public-school appropriations law. Self-serve card plans renew annually; cancel anytime.
What happens to saved scenes when a license expires?
Saved scenes remain accessible in read-only mode for 90 days after expiration. Scene share URLs continue to work indefinitely — the encoding is pure data, no account required.
Do you meet ADA Title II accessibility requirements?
We publish a VPAT and a WCAG 2.1 AA conformance statement on the accessibility page, targeting the DOJ 28 CFR 35.200 deadlines (April 24, 2026 for large public entities and April 26, 2027 for small).
What is your SOC 2 / security posture?
Our Year-1 posture is a written security policy, a completed HECVAT Lite self-assessment, and inherited SOC 2 Type II attestations from our subprocessors (Vercel for hosting, Stripe for payments, Supabase / Firebase for auth). Our own SOC 2 attestation is on the roadmap, gated on the first Site/District deal that funds it. We are honest about this — if your RFP requires a completed SOC 2 report (Type I or II) on our own controls today, we are not the right vendor yet. See the security page for the full subprocessor list and data-flow documentation.
